  36. How to install:  Extract the archive to a directory of your own choice.
  37.          ie LhA x Hd2:Downloads/Erdnuss.lha Hd2:Trashcan/
  38.          If you don't have the AHI package installed in your
  39.          system, now is the time to install it. (Just extract
  40.          the AHI archive and use its Installer script.)
  41.  
  42. If you already have the AHI package installed, just
  43. start the intro from either CLI or Workbench and
  44. enjoy the show!
  45.  
  46.          This intro is 110% systemfriendly AND multitasking.
  47.          No Locale-support though! :)
  48.          NO Enforcer or Mungwall-hits!

  51. Tech-tech:     Please note that this intro requires approximately
  52.          69kb of conventional memory, plus an 512mb of free
  53.          space on your harddrive for its swapfiles. The OS is
  54.          already such big a consumer of hdspace, so we thought
  55.          we ought to keep the tradition alive.
  56.          
  57. And don't get startled if sudden hd access which may
  58. seem *totally* unnecessary should occur. It's our own,
  59. highly optimized 32-bit (although 16-bit internally)
  60. Virtual Multiple-threading routine (version 1.0)
  61. which scan your hd for redundant free space and does a
  62. pretty darn good job fragmenting it.
  63. We thought about including the new beta version (1.1ß),
  64. but we have some trouble fragmenting the virtual stacks
  65. (VSTACK) and the upper (virtual) memory areas (VHIGH).
  66. And we STILL haven't figured out how to completely
  67. disable the OS support of partitions that uses the
  68. 16-bit file allocation turnip (VFAT16).

  71. Important  --->  Make sure you have installed the correct drivers for
  72.          your specific multimedia speakers or hifi system!

  74.          for a wide selection of the most recently updated drivers. 
  75.          In 95% of the cases, VSOUND.VSD (version 2.04) is the
  76.          only driver you'll need to download. Please note however,
  77.          that some revisions of certain motherboards lack an
  78.          important cache-mode ability needed to transport the
  79.          musicdata fast enough between the CPU, the virtual CPU,
  80.          and the (virtual) sound driver(s).
  81.          The only way you can be sure of having a
  82.          motherboard which can cope with the task, is simply to
  83.          open up your computer, disconnect all hardware from the
  84.          motherboard slots, and then removing the motherboard.
  85.          Finally turn it upside-down. If there ISN'T any text
  86.          saying "Man, you couldn't tell your ass from icecream!'
  87.          you have a perfectly working motherboard.

  89.          Should you encounter any problems what-so-ever with
  90.          the execution and performance if this here intro,
  91.          please contact us. In order to really aid us towards
  92.          an executeable file which can be run satisfactory on
  93.          your configuration, please include a printout of your
  94.          Bios setup, Config.sys and Autoexec.Bat.
